Glass Artist
A career as a Glass Artist has always seemed so fun because it's using a conventional material, glass, and adding your own twist to it using color and structure to create something new and beautiful.
Some pros of going into this career is being able to incorporate your own ideas and concepts into your work. Another pro of this career is being able to apply glass art skills to a wide range of fields such as going into interior design, specifically glass windows or into making glass sculptures to feature in museums or sell.

- Creative Achievement Awards: This is awarded to high school seniors based on their academic achievement and creative ability. The award can be up to $20,000.
- Faculty Honors Award: Available to transfer students only based on merit. Can be up to $10,000.
The program for Glass Artists at the California College of the Arts is a Bachelors program.
The common earning of someone in this career is $39,660.
One interesting fact that I learned from the college website is that there's a lot more to major in than just fashion and commercial design at art colleges. Like you could major in textiles and ceramics.
